Artist Statement:
My photography seeks to reflect the balance of a life well-lived. I view myself as a student and my time as temporary, which leads me to value the future with its possibilities, the past with its lessons and traditions, and the present with its realism and unending grace. My photography seeks to inspire freedom, wonder, and reverence; three things that to me epitomize the fulfilled life.
My travels have taken me to Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Central America, and to over 35 states. In all of the cultures that I have had the opportunity to engage with, these values are found in the joyous members of each one. I hope to give viewers a taste of unending hope, transcending joy, and unceasing amazement that removes them from themselves and invites them to contemplate the world and their place in it.
